What Blacktop Provides

Blacktop provides practical basketball court information such as location, indoor or outdoor status, lighting, surface, rain impact, nets, rim details, facilities, and access notes.

Blacktop is an informational tool. It does not operate, own, or manage the courts shown in the app.

Court Information

Court records may be imported from public sources such as OpenStreetMap or manually checked by Blacktop. Imported records may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

You should verify opening hours, access rules, safety, fees, booking requirements, and local conditions before travelling or playing.

Location and Directions

Location and directions are provided for convenience only. Blacktop is not responsible for route accuracy, access restrictions, court closures, weather, injury, damage, or loss.

Accounts, Saved Courts, and Votes

Blacktop does not require an account for browsing. If you choose to sign in with Apple, saved courts and court fact or vibe votes may be synced to your account.

Community vote counts are informational signals only. They may be incomplete, subjective, outdated, or based on limited input.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its services, attempt to access non-public systems, or use court data in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

OpenStreetMap Attribution

Some records contain information from OpenStreetMap contributors and are available under the Open Database License. Blacktop may transform or supplement this data with manual checks.

Changes to the App

Blacktop may add, remove, or update court records, features, data sources, or availability at any time.

Limitation of Liability

Blacktop is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blacktop is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app or reliance on court information.
